INSPIRING THE FUTURE PHARMACY is the result of a path wanted by Banca IFIS in collaboration with Credifarma dedicated to pharmacists. Through the use of Design Thinking and starting from focus groups with this category, we have devised design concepts on the pharmacy of the future, developed by two design teams from Università La Sapienza di Roma, coordinated by Prof. Carlo Martino and Prof. Monica A.G. Scanu, and from Politecnico di Milano, coordinated by Prof. Stefano Maffei and Prof. Francesca Foglieni.

The project aims to imagine the pharmacy of the future and to support pharmacists in a development path that combines consulting, specialization, and digitalization. The goal is to support the sector in its evolution process, making it ever more competitive and advanced.

The e-book, which summarizes the main results of the project, is divided into two parts. The first one is made up of some critical texts: Stefano Maffei and Francesca Foglieni for POLI.design, Politecnico di Milano; Carmelo Carbotti, Head of Banca IFIS Studies Office; Stefano Micelli, Professor of International Management, Cà Foscari University, Venice; Carlo Martino, Professor of Industrial Design, Sapienza Università di Roma; and Monica A.G. Scanu, Director of the European Institute of Design, Cagliari. The second part comprises nine design projects developed by two groups of designers from Università La Sapienza di Roma and Politecnico di Milano.
